30 Pupils Shortlisted For FOSLA FCT 2019 Final Scholarship Screening

A total of 30 pupils have been shortlisted for the FOSLA Academy FCT 2019 Scholarship programme, bestchoicesports.com.ng can report. 
The scholarship which is a yearly profane of former NFF president,  Alhaji Sani Lulu Abdulahi, had the shortlisted pupils cut across the six area councils of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT,  Karshi (host community of the school) and Keffi of Nasarawa State. 
The number is made up of 22 male and 8 female candidates. 
A breakdown of the list shows that Gwagwalada Area Council and Karshi had the highest number of shortlisted candidates with a total of 5 each in male category while Keffi had the least with one pupil. 
In the female category, Gwagwalada has six candidates while Kwali has 2.
The list of the shortlisted pupils according to their area council include 
Abuja Municipal Area Council: Chukwu Wilfred (most valuable player of the tournament on Saturday), Michael Patrick and Abdullahi M. Abdullahi, 
Gwagwalada Area Council: David Lucky, Adejoh Godwin, Sadiq Audu, Ojukwu C. Greatness and Shamsu Haruna,
Kwali Area Council: Abdulganiyu Abdulkareem and Emmanuel Samson.
Bwari Area Council: Emmanuel Godfrey and Simon Patrick, 
Abaji Area Council: David Alifa and Muhammed Saleh 
Kuje Area Council: Emmanuel Michael and Idris H. Idris, 
Karshi: Salim Musa, Arafat Yusuf, Adamu Badamosi, Muhammed Muhammed and AbdulJabar Umar,
Keffi: Muhammed Bashir.          
In the female category, Gwagwalada has Patricia Peter, Obadiah Juliana, Faith Godfrey, Isiaka Juliana, Adamu Hafsat and Olugboye Olabisi, whereas Kwali has Grace Moses and Ogbe Queen.
The 30 shortlisted pupils will join 34 other candidates shortlisted from Kogi State – made up of 29 male and 5 female pupils – on Saturday, April 27 at the school’s headquarters in Karshi, Abuja for the final selection of the successful candidates. 
The 34 candidates from the Kogi and FCT will play series of matches against each other and will also write a screening test to determine their academic quotient. From which the final candidates will be chosen to resume start the 2019/20 academic session in the school. 
Speaking with bestchoicesports.com.ng on the list, the Team Manager and Vice Principal of the Academy,  Ibrahim Mohammed lawal said that a lot of talents were discovered during Saturday 13th April’s screening but noted that the management needed only 30 exceptional pupils from the FCT zone for the final screening on Saturday.
