Ayinde Targets Victory Against Linkopings In Swedish League
Eskilstuna United of Sweden influential midfielder, Ayinde Halimatu Ibrahim is targeting victory on the road to Linkopings FC, as she believes her side can get maximum three points to consolidate and move up on the league standing, Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report.
Although Linkopings are 5th on the Swedish Women League table, while Ayinde’s Eskilstuna occupy 7th, the Nigerian international believes her side can subdue their host, saying they are ready to maintain their winning mentality.
“We want to continue with our winning mentality because we don’t want to drop any points. We have had great preparation and everyone is healthy and fit for the game,” Ayinde declared.
She admits it will be a tough match, but reckons that Eskilstuna can get something out of today’s match with determination from the players and unflinching support from their teeming fans.
The Super Falcons star, who is enjoying a regular start at the Eskilstuna, was on for the entire 90 minutes during her side 2-1 victory over visiting Goteborg, last weekend. The Nigerian gave a good account of herself, controlling the space of the game from the midfield for the Mangus Karlsson’s ladies. The win moves Eskilstuna United to seventh position in the Swedish Women Football League, also known as Damallsvenskan or OBOS.
