One of Nigeria’s representatives at the 2019/20 CAF Confederation Cup, Enyimba International Sunday booked a place into the group stage of the competition, Bestchoicesports.com.ng/ can report.

Enyimba, who travelled to South Africa with a 2-0 first leg advantage in Aba last weekend, consolidated the scoreline by defeating their host TS Galaxy FC 2-1 at home on Sunday.

With the result, Enyimba thus qualified for the money spilling group stage with 4-1 aggregate win.

Enyimba’s playmaker, Daniel Darkwah opened the scoring in the 76th minute after the first half had ended goalless.

Any hope for the home side to turn things around was compounded by Usule Martins who scored the second goal for the Aba Elephants 6 minutes later.

Determined not to lose at home, TS Galaxy which is playing in the South Africa’s Division 2 League, mounted sustained onslaught on the Aba Boys and reduced the deficit in the 90th

Unfortunately for them, the goal ended being a mere consolation and Enyimba held on to claim home and away win against the South Africans.

Meanwhile another representative in the Confederation Cup, Rangers International FC of Enugu is currently tackling Kara FC in another match in Enugu.

Rangers need at least a 1 -0 win to progress to the group stage after recording a 1-2 loss last week against their opponents in Lome, Togo.

Bebestchoicesports.com.ng can confirm that the Flying Antelopes are currently leading Kara by alone goal. Chinoso Eziekwe scored the goal in the 17 minute of the the match ongoing at Nnamdi Asikiwe Stadium, Enugu.
