Nasarawa State Governor’s 100 Days In Office: Sports Organising Committee Restrategises, Sets Ups Sub-committees

In its bid to deliver on the task before it, the eleven-man Sports Organising Committee set up by the Government of Nasarawa State through the Office of the Senior Special Assistant, SSA, to the Governor on Youth Development and NGOs Matters, Hon. Kwanta Yakubu, to celebrate His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi A Sule’s first One Hundred Days in office, has constituted five separate Sub-Committees and appointed members into them, Bestchoicsports.com.ng can report.

(iii). Louis Daniel – Member

TECHNICAL:

(i). Lawrence Shammah – Chairman 

(ii). Bashir Bassey – Member

It could be recalled that the Government of Nasarawa State had, few weeks ago, constituted and inaugurated an eleven-man Committee made up of Elder Toks Moses Adeoye (Area Education Inspectorate Officer as Chairman), Barr. Isaac Danladi (Chairman, Nasarawa United FC as Co-Chairman), Hajiya Hussaina Suleiman Nagogo (acting Chairperson, Nasarawa Amazons FC as member), Lawrence Shammah (Director of Facilities, Nasarawa State Ministry of Youth and Sports Development as member), Eche Amos (PRO, Nasarawa State Ministry of Youth and Sports Development as member), Bashir Bassey ( Judo Coach and lecturer, Sports Laws, Nasarawa State University as member), Salisu Galadima (CEO, FC Basira as member), Abraham Habu (PRO, Nasarawa State University), Yusuf Abari (Basketball Veteran as member), Louis Daniel(Teacher, Sports Academy, Akwanga), and Salihu Barrie Jubrin (Director of Sports, Nasarawa State Ministry of Youth and Sports Development as Secretary)* at the Conference Hall of the State’s Deputy Governor’s Office.

Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule was sworn-in as the fourth democratically elected Governor of Nasarawa State on 29th May, 2019, and series of activities, including sports, have been lined up to mark his first One Hundred Days in office.
