The League Management Company, LMC has reshcduled two Matchday 8 clashes of the Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL, Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report

The two matches rescheduled include Wikki Tourists of Bauchi Vs Enugu Rangers and Nasarawa United Vs Kano Pillars.

The match between Wikki and Rangers originally fixed for Sunday, December 15 was brought forward by 24 hours. The match will now hold on Saturday, December 14 in Gombe instead of the initial date of Sunday, 15. No reason was given, at the time of filing this report for the shift.
Rangers confrimed the reschedule in its official twitter handle Thursday.

“Another change of date. Our game against Wikki Tourists will now take place on Saturday instead of Sunday in Gombe,” the club said.

However, the encounter between Nasarawa United and Kano Pillars was postponed by a week following the ongoing 38th edition of the Federation of Public Service Games,
FEPSGA, in Lafia Stadium, Nasarawa State.

Following the FEPSGA, the manageemnt of the Lafia based side wrote LMC for a shift in date which they granted.

Speaking with the Media Officer of Nasarawa United, Amos Eche, he said that the rescheduling of the match, though at the inatance of the club, means that the players and officials may not go on Christmas break.

He noted that effort to fix the match on Tuesday when the FEPSGA would be over, was not accepted because there will be Matchday 9 matches in the midweek.

He however thanked the LMC for their consideration adding that the Solid Manners will put their challenges in the early stage of the league behind them.

Nasarawa United are currently occupying the bottom of the league log with two points from 7 matches.

It could be recalled that the coach of the side, Bala Nikiyu recently resigned from his position over the management’s inability to renew his contract
