2022/2023 Kebbi Beach Soccer League Super 4 Final Postponed

The final of the 2022/2023 Kebbi State Beach Soccer League, KBSL Super 4 final has been postponed from 19th -21st January, 2023 to 26-28 January, 2023.
The one-week postponed as announced by the Kebbi State Beach Soccer Media on Thursday was necessitated by the death of Barr. Abba Bello Muhammad, a friend of the sport.
“This is to inform the public that the Super 4 Finals of the Kebbi Beach Soccer League (KBSL) scheduled for 19th -21st January has been postponed.
“The start date of the finals has been shifted by one week to 26th January, 2023 in honour of our friend and brother, Barr. Abba Bello Muhammed, who sadly passed away on Friday.
“We continue to pray for the repose of his soul and commiserate with his family and people of Kebbi State,” the release said.
Four teams qualified for the 2022/2023 KBSL Super 4 and the 3-day title-deciding final will hold at the Sanni Abacha Bypass, Birnin Kebbi.
The four teams – Marshal Academy Beach Soccer Club (BSC), Iliyasu Sports BSC, Magatakarda BSC, and Dallatun Kalgo BSC – will jostle for the league title at the end of the Super 4.
In Group B, Iliyasu Sports BSC had a slim 16 points lead to top the group ahead of Dallatun Kalgo BSC.
A new Champions will emerge at the end of the 2022/2023 Kebbi Beach Soccer League after holders, YAB Foundation didn’t qualify for the Super 4.
The defending Champions finished in the fourth position in Group B with 6 points, seven points less than third-placed Atiku Bagudu BSC and 12 points short of a place in the Super 4.
