Owumi Appeals For Total Commitment As Rangers Continue Closed Camping In Nsukka

The General Manager, Prince Davidson Owumi has charged the players and coaches of Rangers International Football Club of Enugu, to “be more committed, up their games, listen and obey the instructions of the Technical Crew currently led by Coach Mangut”.
The Chief Executive Officer of the League Management Company, LMC, stated this in Nsukka as the seven-time Nigeria Professional Football League champions continued their closed camping on Friday.
In addressing the Rangers’ family at the Queen of the Rosary Secondary School, Nsukka, Owumi commended the team for its commitment and dedication since the camping started.
Rangers Team members are still in the University Community at Nsukka where they are camping in preparation for the upcoming Nigeria Professional Football League Season and the Aiteo cup (Challenge Cup) competitions.
Within the pre-season camping, the old players and the new ones are not just familiarizing but also bonding which is the essence of leaving their Enugu comfort zone.
Apart from training at the Akanu Ibiam Stadium, University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Rangers also trained and played some matches at the Queen of the Rosary Secondary School, Nsukka.
The General Manager in one of his periodic visits, paid a courtesy visit to the Administrative Secretary of the School, Rev. Fr. Mattehew Odo, to express his unreserved gratitude to the school for allowing Rangers train in their school facility.
The Administrator also appreciated the General Manager, and his Team for finding the school worthy of hosting Rangers.
According to him, “I understand the philosophy of sports and appreciate you for allowing us see the Rangers we hear and see on the television physically”.
The team has been consistent with winning against all the teams they played friendly match with since the camping exercise started.
