Abia Warriors of Umuahia on Matchweek Eleven (11) ran riot over league leaders Plateau United at the Umuahia township stadium to inflite Abdu Maikaba tutored side their second defeat of the season.

The Spectators at the stadium wouldnt forgot the match in a hurry as they were thrilled with the best of football artistry by the two sides and the team convincing win over highly rated Plateau United whom bookers odd tipped to be favourites to clinch all three points at stake.

Former Family Worship Center FC of Abuja strike Lukman Bello was the talk of the day by football enthusiast and sports writers at the stadium as the lanky striker was a huge threat to the visitors althrough the match.

The fans couldnt get over his performance after the game as they nicknamed him ‘Zlatan Ibrahimovic’ for his ability in making good use of his height and size to bully defenders.

The highly rated striker in an exclusive interview with Abia Warriors Media Expressed his joy to have secured his first league goal, his target in Abia and his impression about the team and the fans.

“It was a big relieve for me when I scored,  there was no other way to express it other than being wild with my celebration,  I never mind being booked because I have been expectant of it long ago.

It’s my desire to announce my arrival in Nigeria topflight league with Abia Warriors by being among the league top goalscorer contenders as well as the club top scorer contender.

Am fully aware of the number of  goals the league leading scorer has scored as well as the number of goals the team leading scorer has scored and am not tripped by rather  I will keep working hard to equal them and overtake them.

I believe to have ended my goal drought with the goal aganist Plateau United and I know it will  be a non stop in our subsequent games.

The team and the fans of Abia Warriors are the best set of people I have come across in my football career.

 They always supports and encourages me to keep working hard believing that one day the goal will come knowing how anxious and tensed up I have been about it.

That was the reason the whole players rushed after me in celebration because they were all happy for me.
