NNL Readmits Giodano FC Into 2018/19 League Season

The management of Nigeria National League, NNL has readmitted Giodano Football Club of Kano into the 2018/19 league season days after the club withdrew from the league, Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report
NNL confirmed the readmission of the Kano-based club into the second tier of league in Nigeria in a letter sent to the club today and obtained by this paper.
In the letter signed by the NNL Chief Operating Officer, COO, Lawrence Ketkan, the league accepted the club’s apology for bringing the league to disrepute and warned it to abide by the rules governing the league.
Part of the letter tagged “Re: WITHDRAWL (sic) LETTER” read “While we commend you for the step you have taken to return to the league, your apology for bringing the league to disrepute as well as your undertaking to remain disciplined and abide by the rules of the game, may we also remind you that the league management remains impartial in the administration of the game.
“Thus you are reminded to see your reinstatement as an opportunity to do better
“It is on this note that we reschedule your matches as follows: Week 4; Giodano FC v Aklosendi Int’l FC, Sunday, 5th May, 2019.
“Week 3: Adamawa United v Giodano FC, Wednesday, 8th May, 2019.”
Giodano FC recently withdrew its participation in the league prompting its matchday 3 against Adamawa United to be cancelled.
