NFF Appoints Eguavoen As New Technical Director

Former Super Eagles coach, Augustine Eguavoen has been appointed by the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF as its Technical Director, Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report
Eguavoen’s appointment was announced Tuesday in a release after NFF’s Excutive Board Committee meeting.
Part of the release reads: “The Executive Committee approved a presentation by the Chairman of the Technical & Development Committee for the appointment of former Super Eagles’ Captain and Coach, Mr. Augustine Eguavoen, as the new Technical Director of the NFF.”
Mr Eguavoen will work with Mr. Paul Aigbogun (Deputy Director, Technical & Scouting); Terry Babatunde Eguaoje (Consultant on Coaching & Development); Abdulrafiu Yusuf (Assistant Director, Coaching & Development); Siji Lagunju (Assistant Director, Training & Development) and; Garba Lawal (Chief Technical Officer).
The release further added that “The appointments are with immediate effect.”
Eguavoen was appointed the caretaker coach of the Super Eagles in June, 2005 with his coaching staff including Samson Siasia, Daniel Amokachi and Ike Shorunmu.
