Cape Town City Sign Nigerian attacker Jeleel Ajagun
DStv Premiership club Cape Town City has reportedly acquired Abdul Jeleel Ajagun on a free deal.
According to leading South African transfer reporter FARpost, the 27-year-old Ajagun is in Cape Town and is going to be announced imminently.
“#FARPost can confirm that Cape Town City have signed Nigerian attacking midfielder Abdul Jeleel Ajagun. Previously played in Greece, Netherlands & Belgium,” said the post.
The club makes a third attacking sign in the attempt to replace Kermit Erasmus, with Aubrey Ngoma, Prince Agyemang looking like flops, while Justin Shonga only arrived this month.
Other Nigerian internationals in the DStv Premiership include Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi, as well as Stanley Dimgba at Stellensbosch FC.
