Kano Pillars Extend Winning Streak To Ten Matches, Safety Babes Remain Unbeaten

Kano Pillars are the only team unbeaten in the male category as they extended their winning streak on day 10 of the Prudent Energy Handball Premier League 2022.
Similarly, defending champions of the female category, Safety Babes have also remained undefeated after matchday 8.
Kano Pillars’s winning streak extended to the 10th match as they defeated rival Safety Shooters 28-23 to get a perfect 30 points which keeps them on top of the league table in the men category while Safety Shooters drop to third
Niger United are now second on the log after they got a comfortable 36-20 victory over Police Machine while Rima Strikers defeated Confluence Stars 33-29.
Benue Buffaloes defeated Owena Kings 29-27 while in a match dubbed the battle of Lagos, Seasider Boys of Lagos and Tojemarine also of Lagos played out 29-29 in what was an intensed soaked match.
In the women category, De Defenders Babes taught Bendel Dynamos a some handball lessons with humbling 36-23 victory while Safety Babes still lead the table as they defeated Rima Queens 33-30 to retain their unblemish record in the first phase of the league
Seasider Babes of Lagos defeated Benue Queens 26-23 while Imo Grasshoppers and Adorable Angels entertained the fans with a 23-23 draw.
The first phase of the 2022 Prudent Energy Handball Premier League will end today at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium Abuja.
20 teams made up of 11 male clubs and 9 female took in the first phase after Kaduna states owned Kada Stars and Queens failed to show up. They were walked over in all their matches.
