Abia Warriors goalkeeper, Charles Tambe has been shot in Ibadan, Oyo State capital, Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report

The goalkeeper was shot while on road walk by yet to be identified hoodlums this morning.

Charles was short while on walk out about 7am in Aparta Area of the City

Speaking with our correspondent, Abia Warriors Sporting Director, Patrick Ngwaogu said that the club is on top of the situation.

“Charles went for his morning walk out at about 7am this morning in Apata Area of Ibadan where he stays with his family

“They accosted him and collected his wrist watch and handset

“And shot him on the hand

“The management of the club is on top of the situation and we are working with the police to track down the pepatrattors,” he said

Mr Ngwaogu also confirmed that Charles have been rushed to the UCH Medical unit where he is receiving attention.
