Super Eagles will be up against Sierra Leone next month in a double header AFCON 2021 qualifier in Asaba on March 27 while they will play the reverse fixture in Free Town 4 days later and Seyi has stated they will not look down on their opponents.
“Football in Africa has come of age and the teams in Africa are all strong so we need to be very weary of this our penchant for looking down on teams,” he told brila. “I don’t think it’s a straightforward ball like people will always think it is. I think we need to work, we need to prepare very hard,” he added.
Super Eagles who are currently on top of their group with six points, will take on the Sierra Leonians on the 19th of March at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba.
