Following a poor start to the season, New Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has insisted that results must improve because they are “the biggest football club in England”, Bestchoicesports.com.ng understands

The Gunners have had a poor string of results which cost Unai Emery his job back in November with Freddie Ljungberg appointed on an interim basis before Arteta was handed the job permanently.

Arsenal are currently 12th on the log with 24 points from 20 games and are in danger of missing out on Champions League football for a fourth consecutive season.

In an interview with Sky Sports before the Chelsea game, Arteta claimed Arsenal are the biggest side in England, “I think things happened in the last two seasons that have a strong say on the situation.

“If the fans can see an identity close to what they are used to seeing with Arsenal, they will be on board. There are some non-negotiables.

“The demands we put on the team, the commitment, the energy we put in, that dominance. We are the biggest football club in England, and we have to play a little bit with that arrogance, that belief.

“This stadium has to create fear again. I used to hate coming here as an opponent, and we need to use that power.”
