Bayelsa United Force Goddosky FC To 1-1 Draw In Yenagoa

The friendly match which was in preparation for the resumption of the NNL and commencement of the NLO, was played at the Samson Siasia Stadium Yenagoa, Bayelsa state
Bayelsay United’s new boy, Ela Manasseh first touch gave the home side the lead in the 68th minutes through Diego Jonathan pass after a cagey first half of hostility but the visitors responded immediately on 69th through Ebere Eze from a well taken effort to go pass Raphael John.
However Philip Bob could have sealed the win for the Yenagoa side but the visitors goalkeeper who had a phenomenal first half made crucial saves to deny the host the victory.
Bayelsa United would now wait for March 14th resumption date as proposed by the Nigeria National League, NNL management.
After the encounter technical Adviser of Bayelsa United Dipreye Teibowei said he is pleased with the level of progression of the boys.
On his part Head Coach of Goddosky FC Nduka Edmund describe the performance of his side as above average pointing out that he expected his lads to put up better performance.
He explained that the friendly match has exposed them as they prepare for the Nationwide League One season expected to start on 26th of this month.
