Boboye Replaces Obuh As Akwa United Coach
Former NPFL winner, Kennedy Boboye has replaced John Obuh as the coach of Akwa United, Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report
Obuh resigned on Monday citing indiscipline and insubordination by some of the players as the main reason for his decision to leave the club.
In a swift reaction, Akwa United named Boboye as Obuh’s replacement hours later.
Boboye won the Nigeria Professional Football League title with Plateau United in 2017 but failed to impress in the CAF Champions League.
He has also had spells at Remo Stars, Abia Warriors, and Sunshine Stars
Boboye had his first training session with the Promise Keepers on Monday afternoon and will be unveiled before Wednesday’s NPFL matchday-nine encounter against Rivers United at the Akwa Ibom International Stadium, Uyo.
