Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, has approved the immediate dissolution of the  Boards of Enyimba Football Club and Abia Warriors Football Club with immediate effect, Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report.
The two boards of the NPFL clubs in the state were among 32 boards also dissolved by the governor Saturday. 
In a release signed by the  Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Enyinnaya Appolos and made available to Bestchoicesports.com.ng, the governor while thanking the boards for their services to the state however, directed the affected members to handover all government documents and properties to relevant offices. 
No reason was given by the governor for the dissolution but Bestchoicesports.com.ng understands that it was not unconnected with change of government in the state which is expected to take place on May 29 when the governor will take a new oath of office for another four-year term. 
Apart from Enyimba and Abia Warriors boards,  others affected include: Abia State Water Board, Abia State Transport Corporation, Umuahia Capital Development Authority, Abia State Housing Corporation, Abia State Library Board,Broadcasting Corporation of Abia State, among others.
