Chairman, Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, SWAN FCT Chapter, Mr Bunmi Haruna was on Saturday inducted into the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ FCT Chapter’s Executive Council, bestchoicesports.com.ng can report.

Mr Haruna emerged the SWAN FCT Chapter chairman after he defeated former occupant, Mr Ndubueze Chidoka in a landslide victory on June 4th, 2021 election.

In the induction which took place during the NUJ FCT Congress at the Secretariat in Utako, Abuja, Chairman of the NUJ, Mr Emmanuel Ogbeche while assuring Mr Haruna of their support, also charged him to lead the new SWAN dispassionately.

“We Assure you of our support. We hope you will lead SWAN dispassionately,” he said.

“Put SWAN above self. And you will bring to bear a fresh start, congratulations.”

It is hoped that the induction has put to rest any iota of doubts about who is the Chairman of the SWAN FCT.

As at the time of this report, the NUJ FCT Congress was still ongoing.
