CAF Confederation Cup: Biriduba Upbeat Of Victory Ahead Of CS Sfaxien Clash

Bayelsa United defender, Gabriel Biriduba says the club will be targeting a big win over Tunisian Cup Champions, CS Sfaxien in Sunday’s CAF Confederation Cup first leg fixture at the Samson Siasia Stadium, Yenagoa.
The Prosperity Boys spanked Guinean league side AS Ashanti Golden Boys 4-2 in the first preliminary round tie at the Samson Siasia Stadium to advance to the next round.
The Juventus El Arab as the Tunisians are fondly called qualified for the CAF Confederation Cup following a 5-4 triumph on penalties against Club Africain in the Tunisian Cup after a goalless ninety minutes of hostility.
Addressing the club media, Biriduba said the Yenagoa based side are prepared for the encounter following their victory against Abia Warriors last weekend and the goalless draw two time CAF Champions Enyimba International.
He noted that the preparation had been intense for the CS Sfaxien clash,pointing out that the objective was to play in the group stage of the competition.
The former Continental Boys of Peretorugbene centre back noted that with the information available about the CS Sfaxien team, the Prosperity Boys would exploit the weaknesses of the visitors before traveling for the reverse fixture at the Stade Taïeb Mhiri Sfax,Tunisia.
Kick off time for the game is 3pm Nigerian time.
In the meantime, The Confederation of Africa Football CAF has approved 2000 fans to watch Bayelsa United vs Cs Sfaxien of Tunisia on Sunday at the Samson Siasia Stadium, Yenagoa.
