Former captain of Nigeria Professional Football League side, Enugu Rangers International, Christian Chukwu has charged the players to improve on their performances both in domestic and continental outings, Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report

Chukwu, a former coach of the Super Eagles made the call following poor performances the former NPFL champions have churned out in the domestic league as well as CAF Confederation Cup engagements.

Rangers, it could be recalled, lost their first two matches in the Confederation Cup both home and away.

In the NPFL, they currently lie 19 although they played two matches less.

Chukwu, fondly called ‘Chairman’ in his playing days, made the call when he led members of ex-Rangers FC led who visited the players of the club during their training session at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium recently.

While addressing the players, Chukwu regretted the manner with which the team has been losing league matches in the past few weeks.

However, the former Rangers coach called on the players to change their attitude by raising their game starting.

Rangers will this Sunday clash with Nouadhibou in the Matchday 3 of the second club competition in the continent.

The match will kickoff by 8pm in Mauritania later today
