Today, I join the retinue of well-wishers worldwide to celebrate and felicitate with a quintessential personality and a proponent of positive change, Hon. Othman Bala Adam, on the occasion of his birthday anniversary celebration.

A one-time House Committee Chairman on Youth and Sports at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, Hon. “Boss” as he is fondly called by his battalion of admirers, rose to become the incumbent Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, a Ministry renowned for its vast work-strength and cosmopolitanities.

Humble-to-a -fault, the Hon. Commissioner has broken several grounds since he started occupying public offices.

As a legislator, he sponsored the “Sports Development Fund” bill and ensured its passage, a document that has been the institution of consultation by both the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development as well as States of the Federation.

Just less than two years as a Commissioner under the Governor A.A Sule-led administration, Hon. Othman Bala Adam has achieved a lot, completing unfinished businesses, breaking new records and setting new normals to the awe but emulation of his colleagues both in Nasarawa State and beyond.

Appears pretty tameable and vulnerable at first sight, but the Commissioner is a ‘dangerous’ achiever with uncommon Midas touch.

He turns minus to plus at will and triggers the spirit of excellence where none exists.

A beacon of hope to the hopeless and symbol of unrivalled leadership, Hon. ‘Boss’ resonates the ambience of transparency, accountability and good governance.

He is father to the fatherless, husband to widows, job to the jobless, light to those in the valley of the shadow of death, and road to the disconnected.

He connects like a bridge, drives passion and encourages ingenuity in persons; he evaporates excellence without bias or stereotypes.

Where there is war, he breathes the air of peace; he rejoices at talents, giftings and brilliance.

For him, it’s all for one, one for all.
