Chelsea have launched their away kit which will be used for the 2019/20 Premier League season.

The white kit is inspired by the 1960s Mod culture which thrived in the club’s area of west London.

The kit, done by Nike, is predominantly white with a button-down collar accompanied by blue and red details around the collar and the sleeves.

The full kit includes matching white shorts and the famous royal blue socks, with the buttons inscribed with the message “Pride of London”.

 Speaking during the launch, Chelsea forward Fran Kirby said; “The kit is really beautiful, with so many nice touches,” 

“I know a little bit about Mod fashion and culture and you can see its influence on the kit. I think it’s a shirt you could wear to the game, but also in any situation, and I’m sure the fans will like it,”

The club is currently in China for their preseason tour.
