CKC Kubwa Battles Church Of Annuciation In Catholic Church Volleyball Championship

The church is known basically for winning souls and preaching the Gospel for one to live a moral life and meet his maker in heaven after departing the world.
However, the Catholic has always been in the forefront of evangelism through social interaction.
It is therefore no wonder then, that the youths of the Catholic Archdiocese of Abuja, under they aegis of Catholic Youth Organisation of Nigeria, CYON, Bwari Deanery organised a volleyball competition to engage the youths and keep them busy.
The competition which commenced on the 19th of June, 2021 will climax on Saturday, September 25th, 2021 with Christ The King Parish, Kubwa taking on Church of Annuciation Parish also in Kubwa in the final.
To reach to final, Church of Annuciation Parish defeated St Matthew Parish, Ushafa 3-1 in the first semi-finals played on Saturday August 28 while CKC Parish triumphed 3-2 against St Augustine of Hippo Parish, Dutse.
A total of 10 parishes took part in the competition tagged “2021 Bwari Deanery Volleyball Tournament.”
The winners of the competition will go home with a trophy, medals and certificates of participation.
