Barcelona dumped Manchester United out of the Champions League in splendid style as they romped to a 3-0 win which saw them go through to the semifinals with a 4-0 aggregate scoreline.

Lionel Messi scored a first half brace before Philippe Coutinho added a stunning third with a long-ranger that beat David De Gea all ends up.

Barcelona will now face the winner of the clash between Liverpool and FC Porto in the semi.

In the other quarter-final, Cristiano Ronaldo and Juventus were dealt the knockout blow by Ajax who won 2-1 in Turin to record a 3-2 aggregate win. Ronaldo had given Juve the lead on the night with a trademark header, but Donny van de Beek and Mathijs De Ligt ensured Ajax had the last laugh and continued their miraculous run in the Champions League.

Manchester City or Tottenham Hotspur await Ajax in the final four now.
