Nigeria Professional Football League side, Mountain of Fire Miracle Ministry Football Club, MFM FC, has appointed Coach Donald as its interim handler following the resignation of former head coach Tony Bolus and his first assistant coach Yemi Olanrewaju, Bestchoicesports.com.ng Can report

However, there are conflicting reports that the duo were suspended by the club.

Despite the good start of the Lagos based side at the beginning of 2020/2021 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season, it seems the energy has reached a breaking point as consecutive run of form has led to the change in headship of the club technical crew.

Tony Bolus who recorded only two wins in nine matches suffered a blow at home on Sunday against former coach Fidelis Illechukwu’s Heartland of Owerri and the crisis-ridden Owerri Side defeated the MFM 2-1 in Agege.

Heartland who is currently having issues due to the poor welfare of the team got maximum point against the Olukoya boys at the Soccer Temple Agege.

Sunday’s defeat led to the a fan of the club fainting and being unconscious when he heard the result of the match

Bolus, the former Head Coach of Giwa FC joined the club in 2019 and was joined by Yema as his first assistant coach.

“Thank you everyone for your support for the past two years I have been working with MFM FC. I have resigned my position as the assistant coach of the club. I wish the team all the best,” Yema confirmed on his official Twitter account @yemastarcoach

MFM have however not made official statement concerning this development.

The Olukoya Boys are currently fourteenth on the log with 10 points after playing nine games.
