Dennerby Invites 26 Falcons For  WAFU Women’s Cup

Super Falcons coach, Thomas Dennerby has invited a total of 26 Super Falcons players to camp for the West Africa Football Union, WAFU, Zone B Women’s Cup in Abidjan next month, bestchoicesports.com.ng can report.

The invited players are made up of 23 home-based players and three foreign-based ones.

The 23 locally based players invited to camp were part of the 30 players earlier invited to camp last month.

The invited players are:
Mary-Magdalene Anjor, Peace Efih, Ugochi Emenayo, Osarenoma Igbinovia, Alaba Jonathan, Glory Ogbonna, Christy Ohiaeriaku, Amarachi Okoronkwo, Tochukwu Oluehi, Chidinma Okeke, Alice Ogebe, Chiamaka Nnadozie and Uchenna Kanu.

Others are: Joy Jerry, Chioma Wogu, Maryam Ibrahim, Cynthia Aku, Rita Okoro, Adebisi Saheed, Evelyn Nwabuoku, Rofiat Sule, Joy Bokiri, Mary Ologbosere, Esther Sunday, Antionette Payne and Rofiat Imuran

The players are expected to report to camp in Abuja tomorrow, April 28, 2019 while training will commence by 5pm on Monday.

The WAFU Women’s Cup Tournament will take place in Abidjan 8th to 18th May 2019, with the Super Falcons to play in Group B alongside Burkina Faso, Niger Republic and Mali.
