Ejidike Congratulates Nigeria Wrestlers On Continental/Global Feats

Nigeria’s Pillar of Sports, Chief Donatus Agu Ejidike has commended Nigeria wrestlers for doing the country proud at recent continental and global competitions.
According to a statement from the office of the Pillar of Sports, the Nigerian wrestlers have continued to dominate the sport and showed to everyone that Nigerians can rule the world in any field of human endeavour if they set their minds at it.
He praised the ingenuity of Hon. Daniel Igali the President of Nigeria Wrestling Federation in ensuring that the wrestlers remain on top of their game, through continuous trainings and competitions at all times.
Ejidike who is also Chairman of Anambra Karate Association, admonished sports administrators, well placed individuals and corporate organisations to look towards other lesser known sports, such as wrestling, which he describes as potential medals and honours winning sport.
He also commended Bayelsa state Governor Seriake Dickson for providing the wrestlers with top range sports facilities and necessary supports that has continued to help them develop and improve through the Seriake Dickson Wrestling Classics.
The multiple awards winning businessman and philanthropist reaffirmed his commitment towards the empowerment and development of Nigerian youths through sports and other positive social economic activities.
It could be recalled that recently, Nigeria wrestlers led by coach Purity Akuh went on another world ranking and glorious adventure in Istanbul, Turkey, where Commonwealth champions Odunayo Adekuoroye and Blessing Oborodudu won gold and bronze medal respectively, and thus improving their rankings in the world.
