Enyimba coming from a 1-0 defeat in the hands of Rivers United in another rescheduled match over the weekend needed to bounce back to winning ways but their game plan was stymied by young energetic FC Ifeanyi Uba who shocked the People’s Elephant with a goal before the half hour mark.
Saidu Adamu scored a brace in the 29th and 61st minutes of the Oriental derby to give the Anambra boys a comfortable lead.
However, Enyimba’s blushes were rescued as Reuben Bala began the process of their comeback with a goal in the 78th minute.
Substitute Imo Obot completed the come back l and gave a point to Enyimba in the first minute of added time to prevent their first home defeat of the season.
The result means that Enyimba move only a step up to replace Rangers at No 5, while IfeanyiUbah remain second from the bottom.
