Enyimba To Battle Tunisian Or Senegalese  Giants In CAF Confederation Cup Semi-final

Nigeria’s sole representative at the CAF Confederation Cup, Enyimba International FC of Aba will face North Africa giant of fellow West Africa foe if they qualify for the semi-final of the second league in the continent, Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report

The People’s Elephant who booked their quarter-final ticket in Aba on Wednesday after defeating South Africa’s Orland Pirates 1-0 will however have to navigate Egyptian side, Pyramids in the quarters.

Enyimba was paired against the Egyptians in the quarter-final draw on Friday at CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt.

The first leg of the quarter-final will hold on May 16 while the return leg will be on 23rd.

Enyimba will first play away to Pyramids on 16 before returning to Aba ọn 23rd to conclude the task.

The full draw of the quarter-final indicates that CS Sfaxien of Tunisia will face JS Kabylie of Algeria while
Orlando Pirates of South Africa will battle Morocco’s giants, Raja Casablanca

Egyptian side, Pyramids will take on Enyimba of Nigeria just as Coton Sport of Cameroon will have to overcome Jaraaf of Senegal if they are to progress into the last four.

Should Enyimba emerge winners of their encounters against Pyramids, they will take on either CS Sfaxien of Tunisia or fellow West Africans, JS Kabylie of Senegal.

The semi-final matches will be played on June 20 and 27 respectively while the final will hold on July 10, 2021.
