Super Eagles midfielder Oghenekaro Etebo has played his first game of the 2019/2020 Championship season.

Etebo’s Stoke City were held to a 2-2 draw by Derby County at the Bet365 Stadium on Saturday.

The 23-year old started the game on the bench and took the place of Sam Clucas three minutes from time.

Derby County’s Martyn Waghorn opened scoring two minutes after kickoff but Liam Lindsay levelled score 30 minutes later.

Stoke then went ahead through Scott Hogan’s 56th minute goal before Martyn Waghorn’s 70th minute goal ended the tie in stalemate.

Stoke City are still searching for their first win of the season with two defeats and one draw from their opening three league games of the campaign.
