The FCT Football team has been disqualified from participating in the football event at the on-going 2019 Africa Youth Games in Ilorin, Kwara State Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report.

The disqualification came as a result of the coaches of the football team fielding over-aged players for the tournament.

The National Youth Games is meant for athletes within or below the age of 15 years. However the organisers, after a thorough screening, noticed that FCT football team had a total of 10 over-aged players out of 12 players screened. Consequently the team was disqualified from participating in the event.
