The Abuja Municipal Area Council, AMAC have won the 3rd place match of the U-15 male category of the ongoing FCT U-12/U-15 Inter-Area Council Handball Championship

The teenagers who could not defend the crown they won last year, defeated Abaji U-15 male team 17-13 to clinch the bronze medal.

Earlier in the day, Kwali Area Council lost 0-11 to AMAC in the female U-12 match. Kuje defeated Bwari 7-4 in the U-15 female category while Kuje U-12 male defeated their Kwali counterparts 21-11.

Meanwhile, three matches will be decided later in the day as the final of the most glamours grassroots handball championship in Nigeria holds this evening.

In the matches lined up, AMAC U-12 male team will battle Abaji by 2pm in the final

In the female U-12 final, AMAC will tackle Bwari Area Council.

In the epic final of the day, Kuje Area Council will trade tackle with Gwagwalada Area Councils in the U-15 male final.
