Former Heartland FC coach, Fidelis Ilechukwu has joined former Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL champions Plateau United on a two-year contract, www.bestchoicesports.com.ng can report.

Ilechukwu’s arrival at the 2017 NPFL champions was confirmed on Tuesday.

The former MFM FC gaffer left his role as Heartland FC head coach after the club board struggled to pay his salaries during the just concluded league season

Ilechukwu will now look to prepare his new Plateau United side ahead of the 2021/2022 league campigan.

He guided Heartland to safety as they maintained their NPFL status despite being old months of salaries along with his players.

He takes over from former U-20 assistant coach, Abdu Maikaba who was in charge of the team for the past few years
