Fosla Academy Emerges champions Of North-Central Principals Cup

Nigeria’s Premier Independent football academy, Fosla Academy of Abuja Sunday emerged champions of the North-Central Zonal Playoff of the 2021 National Principal’s Cup.
The Karshi-based academy who represented FCT at the zonal elimination defeated Kogi State 2-1 in the final to book their qualification for the national Final.
Kogi, represented by Our Lady School, took the lead in the 8th minute after Victor Jonathan nodded in the ball into the far corner for the opener.
But the FCT team rallied and responded almost immediately after Simon Zakari equalised in the 21st minute.
Suleman Mohammed made it 2-1 at on the 33rd minute before the game procedded to half time.
On the resumption of the chances were fe to come by as the match became more technical and tactical and the FCT boys who scored 25 goals and conceded only two held on to qualify.
They will represent the North-Central zone at the National final holding in Abuja from 27th to 31 March, 2021.
FCT won several other events during the playoff which was rounded up on Sunday.
