France World Cup: Injured Faith Michael Taken To Hospital
By Our Correspondent
Super Falcons defender, Faith Michael who sustained injury after she collided with the team’s goalkeeper Oluehi Tochukwu in their 3-0 loss to Norway Saturday, has been taken to hospital, Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report authoritatively.
Our correspondent gathered that the player was taken to an undisclosed hospital for MRI to be conducted in order to determine the extent of her injury.
The two players collided while trying to clear a ball in the 18-yelard box during the second half but Michael landed the worse hit and was stretched out of the match.
Thomas Dennerby confirmed the hospital admission during the post match press conference but did not disclose the name of the hospital.
“Faith Michael is heading to the hospital for some MRI scans on her knee,” he was quoted.
