Turkish Premier League champions, Galatasaray, have joined the race to sign Nigerian striker Paul Onuachu from Danish club FC Midtjylland.

Galatasaray wants Onuachu as possible replacement for Mbaye Diagne should the Senegalese striker leave the club before the end of the European transfer window.

“Onuachu has the same features as Diagne and he has a good reputation for scoring goals but an agreement must be reached,” a report on Get French Football revealed.

The 25-year-old scored 22 goals in all competitions for FC Midtjylland last season and featured for the Super Eagles at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
