Gov. Dickson Classics: Commissioner For Sports Applauds Wrestlers’ Performance

Bayelsa State Commissioner for Sports Development Mr.Perekiye Buruboyefe says he is pleased with the Performance of the wrestlers in the ongoing Gov Dickson wrestling classics in Yenagoa, Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report
Mr. Perekiye in a chat with Journalist in Yenagoa said that the performance of the wrestlers has further shown what Nigerians should expect in the 12th All African Games in Morocco as well as the 2019 World wrestling Championship in Kazakhstan by September.
He further explained that with the collaborative effort between the Bayelsa State Government and the Federation, Nigeria Wrestling will not relent in their quest to promote wrestling in the country as the state number one sports, pointing out that disciplinary been put in place to punish anyone who violates the rules of the tournament.
Action will continues tomorrow by 8am in the Wrestling Classics with medical examination, weigh in final Graeco Roman 72kg and 77kg, Freestyle 70kg Women Wrestling 55kg and 76kg and Second weigh in Repechage and final in Graeco Roman 55kg & 87kg Freestyle 61kg and 92kg.
Meanwhile, the official opening ceremony of the 3rd Gov Dickson wrestling Classics held today by 10am at the indoor hall of the Samson Siasia Stadium.
