The former Nigerian international, Abdule Sule, who is also the president of kogi United Football Club of Lokoja said “The loss of a partner is devastating and can be magnified by long-term struggles for basic needs, other requirements and challenges for survival, hence in our own little way to cushion the effect of an expected challenge, we have decided to provide cash support to the wife and mother of our departed colleague and chairman who was so dear to us”
Though the club owners did not disclose the amount given to the Okenwa’s wife and his mother, Abdul Sule said what they gave is their widow’s mite and will surely serve a purpose.
