Rangers International FC General Manager, Barrister Amobi Ezeaku has disclosed that he would “die” loving the club.
The GM disclosed this on Sunday after he made his debut for the seven-time Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL champions, Rangers in their 2-0 away win against Niger Tornadoes in Kaduna.
Speaking shortly after the match which pushed Rangers to 3rd on the 20-team NPFL table with 40 points from 23 matches, Mr Ezeaku described his debut as a fulfilment adding that he was born loving the game and the club.
“I woke up in tears. Fulfilled. This means a lot to me. To wear the badge of this great Club. To fight for this badge and the people who love this. To fight for our Ancestors and protection of our history. I was born loving this game and this Club”.
“I will die loving this game and this Club. This is beyond the game. This is more than the game. This is my life”.
The Flying Antelopes have won five consecutive matches including two away victories, keeping five clean sheets in the process.
Rangers will return home in the weekend with a fixture against Kwara United at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium on Sunday.
