Nigerian striker Odion Ighalo is rehabilitating in Barcelona ahead of the new league season, Bestchoicesports.com.ng understands.

Ighalo sustained a knee injury after scoring the only goal when the Super Eagles beat Tunisia 1-0 to win bronze at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.

Ighalo called it quit on his international career with the Super Eagles after emerging top scorer at the AFCON 2019.

The Shanghai Shenhua forward posted a short video of his rehabilitation process on his Instagram status.

He will spend time in the Spanish hospital, before returning to China.
