Iheanacho, Osimehn On Targets In Leicester, Defeat, Napoli Win

Super Eagles strikers, Kelechi Iheancho and his compatriot, Victor Osimehn all scored for their clubs Leicester City and Npoli in Premier League and Serie A respectively.
However, while Iheancho’s brace were not enough to earn Leicester City the point at London Stadium, Osimehn’s goal consolidated Napoli’s 2-0 win against Sampdoria.
Iheanacho, coming off his March Player of the Month Award justified why he was undisputed best player in England in the month under review as he scored two second half goals although they were not enough to give the Foxes’ the maximum points against Westham United.
Iheancho scored in the 74th and 91 minutes after Leicester City had gone 3-0 down to ensure that the match ended 3-2 in favour of Westham.
Jesse Lingard, on loan at Westham from Manchester United scored two first half goals to give the Hammers 2-0 first half lead.
Jarod Bowen made it 3-0 in the 48th minute before Issa Diop missed a penalty in the 54th minute.
Iheanacho rallied the Foxes late on but his two goals ended in furtility as Westham secured crucial 3 points that consolidated their Champions League qualification hope.
With the result, Westham has dethroned Chelsea in 4th place but are one point behind Leicester City who are 3rd on the log.
In Serie A, however, Victor Osimehn scored in the 87 minute to ensure that Napoli defeated Sampdoria 2-0 in the Italian Serie A.
The result lifted Napoli to 4 place on the log above Atlanta who has a game at hand.
