Kelechi whose inclusion in the preliminary list of the team raised eyebrows across quarters due to his almost inactivity in his club,  Leicester City of England, has come out to declare that every striker experienced drought some moments in their carry and his was not an exception
He further said that despite his lack of playing time at club level which culminated in him being overlooked by the Eagles’ coach for the remaining part of the AFCON qualifiers, he is not under pressure to perform. 
“There are drought times for every striker and I’m not an exception but I’ll keep my head up, ready for the task ahead.
“I’ll be in camp hopefully to start preparations for AFCON proper. I’m not under any pressure to deliver,” the former Manchester City forward said.
