Ilechukwu Refuses To Discuss Noshiri’s Transfer As Katsina United Deny Wrong Doing
Fidelis Ikechukwu, Heartland FC of Owerri Coach, has said that he won’t talk about the alleged transfer of one of his players Noshiri Samuel who reportedly left the club without a proper procedures for a move to Katsina United.
The former MFM FC gaffer told Brila that he can’t talk about transfer issue as it is purely within the door post if the club’s management
He further buttressed that he does not want to commit himself of the imbroglio even as he confirmed that the player in question, Noshiri is currently not with the team.
He made a decision and him the coach ,they are like a barracks saying, players can go and come that, the player wasn’t around during their last game but if by the end of the day he happens to come back fine, if he does not come back its also okay to him, he said .
“I can never talk about Nnoshiri as long as Nigeria football or Heartland fc is concerned. The issue is not my business because am not the management, I can’t explain what transpired because this is football but I know that it’s something that they can sort out so, what I understand is that Nnoshiri is not with the team for now. He made some decisions, and as a coach, we are like a barrack, same thing like the team. He wasn’t around in our last game and and if by the end of the day he comes back fine that’s it.”
The Heartland management released a statement saying that, the player in question ( Nnoshiri ) still has a contract with them duly registered with the club with his clearance fee fully paid and salaries/bonuses paid up to date before his disappearance.
A document which also surfaces on the internet with a heading stating’ Notice of Termination of contract’ addressed to the management of Heartland stating that, Nnoshiri duly followed the right channel to have opted out for a transfer to Katsina United.
According to the letter “I have therefore opted to exercised my right of termination as contained in Article 11of my standard player’s contract ( Npfl FORM 7)and provided for in the FIFA STATUTE ON THE TRANSFER AND STATUS OF PLAY ERS. Signed by the the player himself copyied NPFL/LMC and also the NFF.
Consequently, Katsina United also issued a release declaring that they did not wrong in signing Noshiri for the Naze Millionaires during the recently concluded NPFL transfer windows.
