The Deputy Governor in an interview with journalists said that he was not only excited about the big win over Crown but the Benin Arsenal’s hundred percent home win record achievement and peaceful hosting of all league games in Benin.
” I am proud of my club’s achievement. We have shown good example of sportsmanship; how football game should be. We just played our last home game today and we had no incident of any kind.
We are not like some clubs where games are always abandoned as a result of intimidation; where fans and officials invade the field and beat up players of visiting teams.

We made a promise from the beginning that we want to lead the way to changing the face of Football by raising a disciplined team and today we have been able to successfully prove that point. I am so excited about it. Other clubs should see us as role models and learn from us how to maintain discipline. Our Stadium is we secured nobody have access to the field of play. Fans can only react to poor officiating or any perceived injustice by shouting. Nigerians should know that Football is a game of unity and not the other way round. It is on record that each time we finished playing in Benin, players of both teams hug each other and excange pleasantries. That is how it should be ” He emphasised.

On the biggest win of the season by Insurance, Comrade Shaibu said it was the best way to appreciate the home fans and he dedicated the 4-0 victory to the Benin Arsenal fans and Edo people.
