The National Association of Nigeria Footballers, NANF, has described as double standard the decision of world football governing body, FIFA to suspend Haiti Football Federation President, Mr Yves Jean- Bart over rape allegation while turning blind eyes to the alleged monumental financial fraud in the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report.

In a release on Tuedsay, NANF President, Harrison Jallah questioned the morality in FIFA’s decision and expressed concern that the global body led by Gianni Infantino has disregarded overwhelming evidences of alleged corruption carried out by the NFF Officials.

NANF noted that with the loud silence of FIFA Over the corruption cases in Nigeria football, “there is a grand conspiracy within FIFA to stagnate the growth of Nigeria football by deliberately shielding corruption.” 

“The National Association of Nigeria Footballers (NANF) wish to state that the suspension of Haiti Football Federation president Mr Yves Jean- Bart has exposed FIFA as a double face organization open to manipulation.

“The Nigeria Football Federation has a case worse than Haiti and FIFA cannot feign ignorance of it having been duly informed of the massive corruption that has almost grounded Nigeria Football.

“The sanction on the Haiti football federation president was predicated on an ongoing investigation of rape allegation.

“What about the monumental corruption in Nigeria football in which a report has been sent to President Mohammadu Buhari by the EFCC? Why has FIFA refused to intervene in the Nigerian situation?

“The NANF will write a formal protest letter to FIFA within this week. Gianni Infantino must run FIFA in consonance with the rules no double standard. There is a grand conspiracy within FIFA to stagnate the growth of Nigeria Football by deliberately shielding corruption,” the statement read
