Kano Sports Commission Chairman Gifts Pillars 1 Million Naira After Katsina United Vin

The Chairman, Kano State Sports Commission, Alhaji Ibrahim Galadima have gifted the stated owned Football Club, Kano Pillars the sun of one million naira (N1, 000, 000, 000.00) after they defeated Katsina United in a rescheduled matchday 23 of the 2022 Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL season.

Mr Galadima sent the money shortly after the Kano based side won the match early on Thursday morning.

In the match which was abruptly stopped at 79th minute following fans encroachment in April was rescheduled to hold on May 26, 2922 at the new home of the Pillars, Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.

The four-time champions won the match courtsey of Auwalu Ali Malam’s 89 minute goal with assist from central defender Abdullahi Musa.
