Nigeria Premier Football League side, Kwara United have appointed Tunde Sanni Salihu as new Chief Coach.

The club announced the new appointment on Tuesday. Mr Salihu was until his appointment the Chief Coach of Abia Warriors.

“Kwara UnitedFC appoints Coach Tunde Sanni Salihu as Chief Coach. The former Captain & Coach was until his appointment the Chief Coach of Abia Warriors FC and Chairman, Nigeria Football Coaches Association (NFCA) Kwara State Chapter,” the club said

The appointment, Best Choice gathered, does not affect the position of the Technical Adviser, Kabiru Dogo

Kwara United are currently 14th on the NPFL log. They lost their home.match on Sunday 2-0 against visiting Lobi Stars.

Concerns have been raised in some quarters over the performance of the team with the Technical Adviser threatening after their Sunday home defeat that he will speak on issues affecting the team in due course.
