Like Delta State Football Association, their Taraba State counterpart has consistently rejected the setting up of a normalisation committee to run the affairs of the FA insisting that that its election was free, fair and transparent.

The NFF in another desperation to install its cronies in all states Football Associations in the federation extended its tentacles to the Taraba state FA by trying to discredit the duly conducted election of June 12, 2019.

However in a united front the FA in the state defended its election and maintained that the election was duly conducted in line with its own regulations and that of the NFF statutes. It went further to state that assuming but not conceding there was a dispute it is an internal matter.

We have said consistently on this column that the Present leadership of the NFF came to steal, kill and destroy Nigeria football. A fortnight ago the NFF dissolved all the other league Management Boards including the Female football management Board and left the League management Company their Conduit pipe with which they allegedly siphon all Sponsorship funds into Private pockets intact.

No value has been added to Nigeria Football in the Past five years of Amaju Pinnick administration. The Domestic Leagues are dying, all age grade football in Nigeria and female football nosedived. Substantial chunk of all resources accruing to football in the last five years have been allegedly diverted to Private pockets. Contrary to the Purported Normalisation Committee,The Edema Fuludu/Victor Ikpeba led Delta state Football Association Board held their meeting last week Thursday 30th January 2019 in Asaba.

In a matter of days this Delta state football Association artificial crisis will become a subject of a Protracted Litigation in the Federal High court in Delta state.

Amaju Pinnick procured the position of first Vice President of Confederation of African Football (CAF) a few years ago only to be sacked ingloriously bringing shame and disgrace to the nation. What legacy will he leave behind as NFF President?

HARRISON JALLA, President (NANF)
