Lille Provides Private Jet For Victor Osimhen’s Father’s Burial

Super Striker, Victor Osimhen will arrive in Lagos via private jet for the burial of his late father, Patrick Osimeh, Bestchociesports.com.ng can report.
His French Ligue 1 club, Lille OSC made provision for the jet to convey him to and fro Nigeria for the burial.
However, at the time of this report, the burial programme of the late 80 years old Osimhen who passed on on Saturday, May 22nd, has not be announced by the family
The Lille striker confirmed the sad newsof his father’s death on his Twitter handle on Sunday with a broken heart emoji.
The 21-year-old is now an Orphan having lost his mother at a very young age.
French club, Lille have provided a private jet for Osimhen to be with his family in Nigeria. Nigeria Football Federation Confirmed the Sunday that a private jet made available by his French club will convey him home and back to France.
“His club, Lille OSC of France has given him a private aircraft to come to Nigeria to be with his family and probably for the burial rites.
NFF President, Amaju Pinnick also revealed that the federation has applied for a landing permit but the request hasn’t been granted as at the time of filing this report
“We have applied for landing permit but we are yet to get this. However, we are still on it and hopeful for the sake of the young lad”, he said.
Meanwhile, Lille in its verified twitter handle also expressed condolence to Osimhen.
The statement reads: “Today we learned with great sadness of the passing of
@victorosimhen9’s father. “The entire LOSC family is joined in grief with Victor and his family. He has our full support during this difficult time.”
Osimhen has been impressive for Lille since joining the club in the summer, he scored 18 goals in all competition before the league was cancelled due to the outbreak of the coronavirus.
